The Northern Territory Government has committed $90 million to improving the liveability and attractiveness of Alice Springs for residents and visitors. This includes $20 million to rejuvenate the town centre and $50 million for the National Iconic Indigenous Art Gallery.
The vision for Alice Springs is to create the town as Australia’s Inland Capital, a place that should be on the list for all Australians and all tourists to visit.
This vision presents possibilities for connecting people, culture and history in a move that will drive innovation and investment for Australia’s Inland Capital.
